We recommend reserving your place on our production schedule as soon as you know your wedding date and venue. Otherwise, we encourage you to schedule your meeting with us least three months before you need to mail your invitations to guests. Save the dates are typically mailed out 4 – 6 months before the wedding date (6-12 months for a destination wedding). Invitations are typically mailed 6-8 weeks before the wedding. The Reply Card date is typically 4 weeks before the wedding. When planning a destination wedding, the earlier the better to allow your guests ample time to make the necessary arrangements in order to celebrate your special day in person.
The turn around time will depend on how quickly we can get your complete invitation information, response to revision design and approval for print. After reviewing your guest list, decide how many invitations you will need. Many times my brides accidentally mix up the guest count as the invitation order count. Consider couples, families, and those that live away from their families. Also remember to order one for yourself for your own wedding keepsakes to serve as a wonderful memory of your special day. Once you have a count, I suggest ordering ten extra invitations for any last-minute additional guests.
We require a signed contract and 50% retainer of your estimated invitation order total to hold your place on the production calendar.
